About the Centre

The HSE Centre for Health Policy was established on January 14, 2014. The Centre’s team has many years of collective experience carrying out basic and applied research on problems associated with organising and managing health care.

Apart from research, the Centre is engaged in analysis and educational activities in the field of healthcare organisation and management.

The Centre’s research is focused on studying health care as a system of organizations and individuals involved in medical aid, healthy lifestyle development and disease prevention, as well as the interaction between health care and other social spheres.

The Centre offers continuing professional education programmes in the organisation, management, and economics of health care.

In addition, the Centre provides expert consulting support for state and local governments in the organisation and management of health care as well as in developing concepts, strategies, programmes, roadmaps, and development (modernization) plans for health care at the federal, regional, and municipal levels.
