Leading Centre Experts Participate in Russian-Dutch Roundtable to Discuss Medical Insurance

The Director of the Centre for Health Policy Director, Sergey Shishkin, and Leading Research Fellow in the Centre, Igor Sheiman, were invited to participate in a roundtable discussion on medical insurance. The roundtable was organized by the Russian Health Ministry’s Department of International Cooperation and Public Relations and the Embassy of the Netherlands in the Russian Federation.

The meeting was opened by Ron van Dartel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Russian Federation, while Igor Lanskoy and Edward Salakhov represented the Russian Ministry of Health. Also participating in the meeting were Deputy Chairman of the Federal Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund Svetlana Karchevskaya and President of the Interregional Union of Insurers, Dmitry Kuznetsov.
