Staff from Centre for Health Policy Take Part in Russian-Taiwanese Symposium on Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences

The Centre’s Director, Sergey Shishkin, and Senior Research Fellow Elena Tarasenko took part in a Russian-Taiwanese symposium on research in the humanities and social sciences. The symposium was held in Taipei, Taiwan on November 14-17, 2014.

Shishkin presented a paper on ‘Doctors’ Motivation in the Post-Semashko Healthcare System,’ while Tarasenko’s paper was on ‘Reasons behind the Burnout Syndrome among Russian Doctors.’

The session devoted to economics and healthcare management was organized by the Taiwan Study Center (National Chengchi University) and the Health Promotion Research Center (National Taiwan University).
